Determinance

Had a mail from Paul Taylor, who dropped me a mail a while back. He and the rest of his team at Mode 7 have been working on their single-player game primarily-multi-player but single player too game for a while. It’s called Determinance and promises to pick up the long discarded baton of Die By The Sword and really engage with the concept of a sword-fighting game, except with a whole new Wire-fu aerial acrobatic filter too.

It looks very interesting. They’re aiming for July, and have started a charming hype-update blog here.

In it they did a post about my Singstar/Guitar Hero/Booze antics, which is really cute. Also it made me wonder whether linking to a site which you know pays attention to their referral tracking is some kind of internet Passive-aggressive thing.

Anyway - Deliverance Determinance. Let’s hope it works.
