Necessary Monsters
The first Necessary Monsters trade paperback is coming out in February from AiT/PlanetLar. The book collects the complete story so far, including updated artwork across all five chapters and a brand new introduction by Kieron Gillen (Phonogram, S.W.O.R.D, Thor). The book is available for pre-order via your local comic shop using Diamond order code DEC09 0641. Alternatively you can purchase via your online retailer of choice – Forbidden Planet in the UK and Amazon in the US seem like good choices.
You may have been following Sean and Merlin online with Necessary Monsters, but it’s well worth getting into. In short: very dark fantasy, drawing from at least a couple of traditions. I had a lot of fun writing the intro.
