Hey! Your real world isn’t real at all.

I find myself at stupid o-clock in Dublin airport with the first line of Chick’s first single floating around my head, remembering how ludicrously angry I got how quickly they went downhill after that initial burst of inspiration.

(And - seriously! - how many recording careers started with a lyric as pure and simple and direct as that? NOT ENOUGH, LET ME TELL YOU)

Yeah, I’m still a little drunk, which may come back and bite me sooner rather than later.

Dublin con was fun. I’ll write more later in the week, I’m sure, but for now I’ll go with fun. Also, in case I don’t write anything about the rest later, I’ll note that comrade PJ Holden’s first Image comic, FEARLESS, came out recently and you should have a nose at it if you’re passing a comic shop. He collects a load of reviews here.

That post turned out to be worryingly together by the end.

I’m convinced that Dublin Airport is a spillover Malebolge for the eighth level of Hell.

what is the lyric? it’s Let Me Go, right?

The Beta Band never topped Dry the Rain as a song.

as for lyrics stuck in heads: the rental car last week was an avenger.

i have been singing about sweetshops ever since and NO ONE UNDERSTANDS.
