:’( Interestingly, his sci-fi author character / alter ego Kilgore Trout also died at the age of 84, according to Vonnegut’s Timequake. “Kilgore dies in luxury in the Ernest Hemingway Suite of the writer’s Xanadu in the summer resort village of Point Zion, Rhode Island.” according to Wikpedia.
