So, a little bit different this time.

Over on the Nerdist’s Writers Podcast, they quite often lob up a panel from an expo or something like that. Because I was in Dublin for their D.I.C.E. con, I figured maybe I should try and do it too, just to get an easy podcast in the can see if it goes down well with the listeners.

So I recorded the Writer’s panel, and here it is.

There’s certainly other panels this weekend I wish I recorded as well. One I dug being in was the traditional Breaking Into Comics panel, which actually went to some relatively fresh places. A kind soul has put it up on Youtube, so I’d recommend you go over there and watch all four parts. And if someone puts up the Working With Licenced Characters panel, I’ll link to here to. That turned into a cheerful complain-fest of all the things that can and do go wrong, and was both useful and funny.

The panelists are….
Matt Fraction
Kelly-Sue Deconnick
Si Spurrier
Rob Williams
Andy Diggle
Jeff Parker
Declan Shalvey

Oh man. I’ve just realised it may not have been Declan hosting it. I can’t find any photo to check. Er… sorry if it wasn’t.

EDIT: Si Spurrier tells me it was actually Dave Hendrick hosting. So – er -sorry Dave.

You can download the podcast from here. Its webpage RSS page is here. And you can find it on Itunes here.

And there’s also an embed.

Th theme tune, as always, is We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed by Los Campesinos.
