DECOMPRESSED 002: KELLY-SUE DECONNICK/CAPTAIN MARVEL #1
Yes, we managed to do a second one. And that half-hour thing went right out the editorial window, as this is an hour of chat with Kelly-Sue DeConnick on the subject of Captain Marvel. Or, at least, mostly about Captain Marvel.
You can download it from here. Its webpage RSS page is here. And you can find it on Itunes here.
And maybe this embedding “thing” will work?
Captain Marvel #1 is available in comic shops. Also, digitally. While we do try to help, clearly it’s a fun thing to have to read along. But if not, you’ll have to make do with Decompressed entirely unpatented…
VISUAL AIDS!
In the rough order of talking. I believe we did proper page numbers – as in, of comic pages. So not adverts or the intro page.

I’m enjoying this, Kieron

Enjoying the podcasts. She is way way too hard on herself! I really enjoyed the issue.

Very entertaining. The art kinda turned me off grabbing the issue on flip-through (I was expecting it to be more in line with the cover in style) but the podcast might have swayed me the other way.

The Guys at House to Astonish were right. This podcast does a great job of pitching a reconsideration of Capt. Marvel #1. I would still prefer an art style similar to what appears on the cover.
…Off to catch up on more episodes.
